Mindful Eating: Grades 4–6
Lesson 2 of A Guided Discovery of Canada’s Food Guide introduces students to the concepts of mindfulness and mindful eating. Designed for students in grades 4 to 6 and aligned with Alberta and Saskatchewan curriculum outcomes, this lesson gives students the opportunity to explore mindfulness in an accessible, age-appropriate way – and even try mindful eating themselves.
With a slide deck, facilitation notes, and a hands-on e-learning activity, this lesson makes it easy for teachers to bring these concepts into the classroom without additional prep.
