In this short video, Randy Bottle, a Blackfoot Elder from Kainai First Nation, shares how food, family, and stories are passed through generations. Students learn about the tradition of sharing circles, how stories strengthen relationships, and the importance of gratitude and listening.
This video can be used on its own or paired with the Sharing Food Stories Series 3: Indigenous Food Stories student activities, which include creative extensions like talking circles, reflective drawing, and class cooking activities.
